We are seeking an enthusiastic, solution orientated, proactive and adaptable program assistant to support our International Programme. The role requires someone who has great orgnisational and time management skills, confident communication skills and able to engage with other people of all levels. The successful candidate will have a non-judgemental and empowering manner who is looking to build on their existing skillset.
About the role
Permanent part time position (24 hours per week)
Base full time salary: $62,393 - $64,316 (salary is based on experience)
The primary role of the International Program Assistant is to provide administrative and operational support in the delivery of high-quality international projects to address the sexual and reproductive health needs of communities in the Pacific region. The International Program Assistant position offers a great development opportunity for a new graduate or early career professional to build international project coordination experience.

Selection Criteria
Essential
Minimum 2 years' previous experience in a customer service, administrative or project support role
High level of digital literacy, including proficiency in using collaboration tools and in the Microsoft office suite
Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation, written and oral communication skills
Proven planning, time management and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and in a diverse multidisciplinary team
Interest in reproductive and sexual health rights
Must have full permanent working rights in Australia
Desirable
A new graduate in international development, public health or related field or tertiary student enrolled in international development, public health or related field
Other requirements
A Criminal Record Check and Working with Children Check are required prior to commencement in this role
